24ct. Mad Cat

Painted during lockdown with the help of the lovely and beautiful Mad Cat Burlesque. One of a series of 2 burlesque artworks. Slightly edgy and thought provoking both paintings depicting the alluring Mad Cat Burlesque dancer. This painting is Oil on linen and is finished with 24ct. Gold leaf. 80cm x 60cm.

Martin came to oil painting through a circuitous route, having drawn for most of his life and being largely self-taught he was eventually re-introduced to oil painting as a preferred medium to create his varied and diverse work. The original artwork is hand embellished with 24ct gold leaf as is each limited edition print, making each one unique.
