Chanel No 5 Perfume Bottle Wall Art
My fine art painting of an empty Chanel No 5 perfume bottle is titled ‘Reflections’. The original being oil on canvas 2ft x 3ft. I loved trying to capture the irridesence and reflections of the glass.
Many people often ask which Chanel perfume is the best, with Chanel No 5 perfume being a firm favorite for many…but like all good things in life this is subjective
It is said by some that a bottle of perfume can last a lifetime…the who…the where…the when… Now all that remains are the memories and ‘Reflections’.
If you like Reflections – my Chanel No 5 Perfume Bottle Oil painting you may also like Memories my 4711 perfume bottle painting and Shalimar, my oil painting of a vintage Guerlain Shalimar Bottle.
Artist Martin Allen
is a London based. Martin came to oil painting through a circuitous route, having drawn for most of his life and being largely self-taught he was eventually re-introduced to oil painting as a preferred medium to create his varied and diverse work. The methods he uses to paint are classic ones, using layered paint applications rounded off by oil glazes. These create, add depth and harmonise colours. He has shown solo numerous times at Goodwood, The Affordable Art Fair and others, been a finalist at the ‘London art Biennale 2019’, alongside various commissions including work for the BP Shipping collection, and most recently Vogue magazine.
